Netsanet Jote was born in Ethiopia. she received BSc degree in Industrial Engineering from Bahir Dar University in 2005 and MSc degree from Addis Ababa University in 2009. Now , Netsanet is a PhD student at Addis Ababa University and lecturer at Bahir Dar University. She lives in Addis Ababa with her husband poet Andualem Abate.
