The main author of this publication is a Veterinary Doctor, Master and PhD in Animal Science graduated from the Federal University of Pelotas (Rio Grando do Sul, Brazil). He taught beef cattle and Rural Administration courses at the University of the Campanha Region (URCAMP), and since 2014 he has been an Adjunct Professor at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul (UERGS), teaching several courses in the area of Animal Production for the Agronomy, Rural Development and Agroindustrial Management courses and the Higher Technology Course in Agroindustry. He is coordinator of the research group GEPAFO (Study Group on Livestock and Agriculture of the Western Frontier). He carried out his doctoral experiment at the Bioinformatics and Genomic Statistics Laboratory (Embrapa CPPSul), conducting studies with an emphasis on the temperament-behaviour-genotype relationship of beef cattle. He is currently developing research projects on sheep farming, livestock production in natural fields and technical-economic analysis of animal production systems (ruminants). He is in the process of broadening his study base by attending his second degree in Economics at the Federal University of Pampa.
