This paper investigates a style of treatment that is not part of the curriculum of the Master's degree level education, and is generally not included in any other Chinese medical educational instruction at higher levels. Divergent Meridian theory and treatment application to the clinical setting, demonstrated by the use of individual cases presented, investigate the following: 1. --Applying the methods of health analysis and evaluation in a clinical setting, identifying Xu Lao Syndrome health patterns, and utilizing the Divergent Meridian treatment application system. 2. --Examining the practitioner process 3. --Documenting the responses to treatment and the recovery process for patients 4. --Determining treatment series, examining the practitioner process and the patient responses to the conclusion of treatment and the benefits to using this methodology in a clinical setting.
