In the Democratic Republic of Congo, there is certainly a problem of application of legal texts, among others, in the field of work. We have sought to find out why and where the blockage exists in order to propose possible solutions. Thus, apart from the introduction and the conclusion, we wanted to evoke the usual terms in the world of work, then present the general classification of jobs and the general wage policy in force in the DRC, the realities within the private sector with regard to remuneration, social benefits and workers' rights. Finally, we have established the responsibility of the public services in charge of monitoring the application of labor legislation. This book is thus intended for students, future workers in the private sector, workers in this sector and their representatives, employers and the public services in charge of monitoring the application of legal prescriptions on labor in the DRC.
