This book is of importance for anyone who is practicing or planning to be international project managers in general and particularly for those who want to have a leadership role in international multi-organizational projects. It gives literature review about the communication theories related to the role and function of the communications in projects. Moreover, the analysis focuses on the importance of effective communication in the planning phase of international multi-organization projects. The empirical data obtained through interviewing the leadership and stakeholders in three such projects supports the literature about the importance of effective communication at the projects planning stage and the lack of effective communication at this planning stage increases the chances of conflict and eventually for the failure of the whole project.
