The study investigates the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in democratising public information access in the Kenyan parliament. The research aimed to determine digital options for capturing and recording parliamentary proceedings, assess the utilisation of ICTs in parliament, understand MPs' attitudes towards digital media resources, and determine the extent to which digital platforms facilitate interactive public discussion. The study used a descriptive survey research design, with 98 respondents, including MPs and PSC employees. The results showed that the internet, email, and websites were used moderately to gather information in parliament, while Parliamentary Service Commission employees often used email for correspondence. The study concluded that only a few digital options have been used to capture and record parliamentary proceedings, and that a digital gap needs to be filled for interactive discussion with the citizenry. The government should ensure that parliament has the capacity to adopt various digital options, and the Parliamentary Service Commission should ensure its employees are well-trained to use all available digital platforms.
