Produktbeschreibung
In my book I would like to give an insight in the
methods used in the past, and perhaps sometimes
nowadays too, to abuse the patients at the
psychiatric wards and the alternative possibilities
to cure such people, providing them the right for
self-determination, humane conditions and facilities.
Ken Kesey tried to approach the topic from the point
of view of the abused patient as he had the necessary
experience for this. His book is full of opposites
which can be the basis of a research of wider
interest for all the people who have or might have
contact with any psychiatric diseases and cures
either on the patients'' side or on the
relatives''side, who have such cases in their families.
Autorenporträt
I graduated in 2006 and my thesis was based on Ken Kesey''s ''One
flew over the cuckoo''s nest''. I have always been interested both
in the topic of the book and in the psychiatric diseases and the
antagonism between the actual and the possible alternative
methods used to cure the patients. I hope that my work can
provide a new insight in this field.
