This very book, based on a master's thesis, came to existence as a result of research conducted by Izabela Dalewska under supervision of Antonín Pavlícek at the University of Economics, Prague. The goal of the project was to research the implementation of cloud-based solutions in the area of Supply Chain Management. The first part is the theoretical background of Cloud Computing - different types of solutions that are suitable for various kinds of business activity, and Supply Chain Management. In the second part, the author focused on an analysis of a company - FN Granum and searches for the best Cloud Computing solution, which would be the best, while taking into account current situation and future plans of the entity. Such an extensive research resulted in a set of conclusions and recommendations, which may be helpful to any manager considering an implementation of cloud-based solutions into theirsupply chains.
Autorenporträt
Izabela graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, and the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3 with a master's double degree in International Business. She has obtained technical knowledge through study of Engineering at the Lodz University of Technology. She is interested in the issues of marketing and supply chain innovation management.
