Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNT) was used as Matrix Solid-Phase Dispersion (MSPD) sorbent for the extraction and preconcentration of four organophosphorus insecticides (i.e. malathion, malaoxon, isomalathion and fenitrothion) from four different commercial honey samples (Çaml belde Bal , Ankara Bali, Binbo a Bal and Balparmak Bal ). The developed method which involves MSPD, followed by evaporation of eluate through nitrgen gas and direct Flame Ionization detector analysis, was performed by dispersing 4:1(g/g) carbon nanotubes stationary phase on spiked honey sample and elution with 8:2 (v/v) hexane:acetone. The recovery values of insectecides were: 103.3 % for malathion with % RSD of 12.1, 96.5 % for malaoxon with % RSD of 10.9, 101.2 % for fenitrothion with % RSD 9.8 and 83.6% for isomalathion with % RSD of 11.1. standard addition calibration method was carried out for the honey sample matix using the standard mixture of the insecticides and slope of curves, were stitistically compared to slope of calibration curves constructed using pure solvent. Limits of detection was 7.0 ng/g for malathion, malaoxon and fenitrothion and 33.3 ng/g for isomalathion.
