This book clearly shows that a significant number of physical education students achieved high coursework marks, but then performed poorly in Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) physical education examinations. Given that the two assessment modes generally tested the same knowledge base and skills, it was thought that a diligent and proper conduct of coursework would enhance learning which would, in turn, be reflected in a good examination performance. The study in the culmination of this book, explored a survey inferential design. Data were collected from Botswana Examination Council official academic record and analyzed by finding the Pearson correlation coefficient, regression coefficients and performing ANOVA for trend analysis. The prediction model for coursework was determined by fitting the values of the relevant parameters in the linear regression model. The book's findings indicate clearly that coursework scores were a good predictor of performacein BGCSE physical education examinations among senior secondary school students.
