Uwe Georg Doehn, geboren 1942, fuhr einige Jahre zur See und arbeitete im Flugverkehrswesen. 1972 nahm er ein Geisteswissenschaftliches Studium auf und promovierte 1982 über millenarische Träume und das ökologische Motiv in der Neuen Welt. Er lebt mit seiner Familie als Antiquar, Autor und Sprachlehrer in Frankfurt am Main.
