Sheikh Mohammad Idrees is currently working as a Researcher at Decentralized Systems Engineering (DSE) Lab, Department of Computer Science (IDI), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway. Prior to this research position, he has worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Department of Computer Science (IDI), NTNU, Norway for two years. He got his PhD from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. He is a recipient of Alain Bensoussan¿Postdoctoral Research Fellowship¿award under¿European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics,¿Sophia Antipolis Cedex, France. He has published several research articles in well-reputed journals and international conferences. He is an active researcher and a member of various professional societies. He is also a frequent book editor of Springer and CRC Press (Taylor and Francis group) books, apart from being a frequent contributor and reviewer of various reputed international journals and conferences. Mariusz Nowostawski, Associate Professor at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, is a programmer, computer scientist and a teacher. Obtained his doctorate from University of Otago, New Zealand, where he worked as researcher and subsequently lecturer for 15 years. His MSc studies were focused on AI and machine learning and his PhD on autonomous systems and computational modelling of the biological process of life. Passionate about self-organizing systems, adaptive and autonomous computation. Mariusz has worked on high-end networking applications on GPUs and multicore systems with Sun Microsystems and Oracle. He is currently involved in various research projects like forensics research with Europol, working on cryptocurrency privacy and anonymity properties, and cryptocurrency and blockchain forensics. Currently many master's and PhD students are working under him in his lab. He is an active researcher who has published numerous articles in well-known journals and conferences. He also serves as a guest editor of many reputed scientific journals.
