Caregivers. Beyond tired, beyond stressed, they hunger for a glimmer of hope. You can see it in their eyes and hear it in their voices. They are stretched way too thin and panic simmers just under the surface. What if the next thing to go wrong makes them snap? With Each Passing Moment, a devotional memoir, offers hope and encouragement for weary caregivers. The short chapters are arranged alphabetically by emotional, physical, and spiritual needs that caregivers face daily.

Autorenporträt
Shirley's Leonard's love of Scripture was nurtured during more than 4 decades as a pastor's wife. She and her husband enjoy retirement on several acres in central Pennsylvania where she uses her camera to capture a scene that she'll use with a Bible verse on her daily Facebook post. From her riding mower, Shirley Leonard often looks back on a lifetime of blessings. Her first book, With Each Passing Moment: Help and Hope for Caregivers, (Sonfire Media, 2012), is a devotional memoir. A discussion guide is offered (sleonard16@comcast.net) and has found a home with Sunday School groups and caregiving support groups across the country. "The Christmas Letters", part of an anthology: Heartwarming Christmas Stories, fictionalizes her family but uses actual letters shared among them over several decades. The book is available on Amazon and signed copies may be ordered via email. Shirley relishes time with her large family: 3 daughters, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Her perfect day includes lots of time to read and nap and enjoy the antics of her cat, Scat (named for her favorite author, Catherine Marshall).
