Autorenporträt
Chris Homan was born to English parents in Dallas, Texas, and started fixing airplanes as an electrician in the U.S. Air Force after high school. Chris nourished his love of travel while getting to explore many cultures throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. After leaving the Air Force, he used the GI Bill to earn his PhD in business management. In between overseas jobs, Chris hiked the Appalachian Trail, the Annapurna Circuit, the Camino Santiago, and most recently the Pacific Crest Trail. Since then, Chris has made his home on Whidbey Island, Washington, where he can take in the forests, beaches, and waterfalls on a daily basis. He enjoys hiking, waxing philosophical with his friends (with anyone who will listen, really), snowboarding, and taking long walks with Mick, his German Shepherd. He still gets the travel bug, and loves to travel with friends whenever possible.
