Scientific Essay from the year 2010 in the subject Sociology - Economy and Industry, grade: A, , language: English, abstract: Technological determinism or TD can be described as a reductionist framework that can be used to explore the interrelations between humans and scientific technologies. However, several scholars like Dosi (1982) preferred to develop a broader perspective on technological determinism on the basis of more intricate analysis of technology change and innovation management. According to the scholars like Mackenzie and Wajcman (1999), a major drawback of technological determinism is its rigidity which is resulted by the deterministic nature of this theory. Autorenporträt
I am currently working as a researcher, technical writer and content developer on a freelance basis. I have over 9 years experience in IT/ ITeS/ K.P.O. and B.P.O. sectors. I also do paralegal jobs privately. I wish to work with professional minded people inclined to flexible schedules but having strict business commitment. However, for being an inter-disciplinary researcher, it has become both a professional imperative and an amateur enthusiasm for me to explore horizontal fields as well as vertical specializations. Although I am a social sciences graduate with global certifications in Microsoft and Cisco technologies, I have to take interest in various subjects ranging from infrastructure management to common law.
