The Adventures of Mark and David tells the story of two twelve year old boys, who gain access to the Drezden Mansion, an abandoned house through an unlocked basement window. Exploring the old house, they come upon a mirrored bench seat in the hall, near the front door. Looking in the mirror, they not only see their own reflection, they see images of people coming in the front door. Quickly turning, there's no one there. Taking an old scarf from one of the hooks, Mark rubs the mirror to get a better look, and was shocked when his hand penetrates the glass. They decide to pass through, and in doing so, are transported back to the turn of the century. They embark on several adventures with Alice, a twelve year old who resides there and her friends.
