Six-phase transmission appears to be the best solution to the need to increase the capability of an existing transmission line and at the same time, responds to the concerns relating to economical and environmental effects. Enhanced power transfer capability through a six-phase converted transmission system is becoming an area of growing interest in the power system industry. However, this conversion will have an impact on the system stability. In this book transient stability analysis of three to six-phase converted transmission line for different cases such as transients when six phase transmission line charging at time 1 second, transients when charged six phase transmission line connected with grid at time 2 second etc.

Prof. Pramod Kumar Baghmar is presently working as Assistant Professor, EE Dept. in CCET, Bhilai India. He received his M.E. (Hon.) in the area of Power Systems Engg. from C.S.V.T.U. Bhilai. He received his B.E. (Hon.) in Electrical Engg. from PT. R.S.U. Raipur . He has published 12 research papers in international journals and national conference.
