Clay brick is one of the primary conventional construction materials widely used throughout the world for thousands of years known to mankind. It remains an indispensable construction material and allows engineers to evaluate many waste materials by incorporating them into bricks. However, nowadays conservation of natural resources and utilization of industrial by-products are very important issues. Flyash is one such material which is a by-product of coal fired power stations and shows chemical composition similar to clay. This book will deal with the different proportions of flyash reinforced in clay to mould quality bricks and investigating their mechanical properties. Additive flyash is needed not only to amend the shaping, drying and firing behavior of clay, but also to conserve agricultural land and usage of waste flyash in proper and appropriate manner.
