The study was accompanied to observe the flowering, fruiting behavior and nutritional quality of guava germplasm suitable for coastal region of Bangladesh. Among the studied germplasm PG 01 and PG 02 have shown important pomological trait to be considered for further study, variety improvement and selection as new variety.

O Sr. Bose completou o seu Mestrado em Horticultura na Universidade Agrícola do Bangladesh, Bangladesh. Actualmente a fazer doutoramento no Instituto Dalian de Física Química, Universidade da Academia Chinesa de Ciências, China e a trabalhar como Professor Associado no Departamento de Horticultura, Universidade de Ciência e Tecnologia de Patuakhali, Bangladesh.
