He is also the author of several bestselling children’s books, written with his young daughters, including the #1 New York Times bestselling book Owen & Mzee: The True Story of a Remarkable Friendship, and Good-bye Tonsils! Marilyn Mets has been working as an illustrator, art director, and graphic designer for more than 25 years. She has illustrated and collaborated on numerous children's books, and her work has garnered many awards and nominations, including a nomination for the Amelia Frances Howard-Gibbons Illustrator's Award in 1998 for her work on Cameron and Me.
