The author, Lilian Adusu, was born in Ghana - West Africa. She is the third born of a family of seven; made up of two brothers and four other sisters including herself makes them five. They are all alive and well; they are very close and supportive of each other. Lilian lost her father, Mr Joseph Tetteh Zoe Adusu, in January 2008. Lilian grew up to have a set of twin boys, Keli and Elike, then Tenu, a girl, who was born one year and three months after the twins, making them look like triplets. Lilian studied Creative Writing and English at the University of Greenwich as a mature student; where she graduated with a Second-Class Uppers Degree. She soon after, took a postgraduate study to become an Early Years Professional, and now manages a Children's Day Nursery; but she still loves to write. Lilian said, that most of the inspirations for her writing were from her childhood ability to write stories in her head; that was long before she grew up to hear about Creative Writing or even though studying to become a writer.
