Cain (1915-June 1, 1993) was a prize-winning American architect.Cain was born in Cleveland, Ohio and attended Case Western Reserve University for five years (1932-1936). In 1937 he went on to study at Fontainebleau, France, where he was a recipient of the Schweinfurth Scholarship.In 1939 he won the Henry Adams Prize from the American Institute of Architects. In 1938 and 1939, he won honorable mention in architecture in the competition for the Rome Prize of the American Academy in Rome.
