Autorenporträt
Manuel Magaña grew up on a farm in the Sacramento River Delta, which inspired the setting of his novel. He is the eldest of six siblings, born to hard-working, Mexican immigrant parents. Together, with God's grace, they learned to overcome hardship and pursue excellence. Manuel earned his BA in English at Stanford University. He later graduated from Berkeley's Graduate Theological Union and has pastored at Community Church of Hayward since 2003, where his passion for learning and storytelling continues.
